Stone Of Essence
Daoism believes that the world is formed by Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Soil, Ice, Wind, Darkness, and Thunder. Each item of one of those 9 categories contains a small amount of essence, so that it is totally different than ashes or dust. That essence is also called “LingQi”, a type of energy that can be collected and absorbed by some human being with certain type of abilities, called “LingGeng”. So, there are 10 types of LingQi: metal, wood, water, fire, soil, ice, wind, darkness, thunder, and the general LingQi.
Only human being with certain types of LingGeng can collect or absorb LingQi. Here, “LingGeng” stands for being gifted to collect one or more types of LingQi. There are also 9 different types of LingGeng, i.e., metal, wood, water, fire, soil, ice, wind, darkness and thunder.
It is believed that if you have just one type of LingGeng, then you can have best training result. If you have more than 5 different types of LingGeng, then you will experience very slow training process, and it is almost impossible to go to next level.
